This is a vintage black wood mushroom shape sock/mending tool. It is made of wood and painted black. There are several spots of missing paint, which could be filled in. Please see photos. The approximate measurements are 3 1/2 inches tall, and a 2 1/4 inch diameter at the bottom. It weighs 2 oz. This would be a nice item to add to your sewing collection. From a smoke-free home.
