Description
From the sellerThese came out of an old music store long out of business. Times were tough in the 1930’s and musicians tended to replace strings one at a time to save money. Strings were often retailed out of counter boxes like this one. This box has 13 originally packed loop-end, felted 3rd strings for the plectrum banjo (which is a long-necked tenor.) The box lid has two split corners, most of its original cello and has some staining from years of shelf storage. (See pics) If you’re a stickler for authentic tone from your vintage instrument or looking for a vintage display piece for your music room, this might fit the bill.
