This early slim pocket lighter is marked on the bottom "BARLOW WIND PROOF, B9, JAPAN". It has an applied crest that says "FIREMAN'S ASSOCIATION OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, ORG 1872". The crest features a helmet that is marked "VF" and "NY". The lighter is in very good condition, it does need flint.
