Vintage/Antique Girls May Knit Poncho Slit Arm Holes Size 4/6x Acrylic 1960/70’s

This classic poncho is true to the 1960/1970’s with pointelle knit patterns front and back and fringe bottom. Decorated with gold buttons down the front and slit arm holes. It is 100% acrylic and bright red in color. Made by the May Knit company which was known for high quality. Sized at 4/6x but seems to run closer to a 4 judging by the neck size when buttoned up. Since it is a simple pullover that would be the only thing to determine how it runs. Please refer to the pictures for more detail sizing. There is some slight pilling which I tried to capture in the photos for full disclosure but other than that it is in great shape for its age. No holes or snags. From a smoke free home. Simply adorable!
