Vintage Akervick Bros Seattle maritime fishing cast bronze brass lid cover

From a marine collector's estate- Vintage heavy cast bronze (or brass?) lid/cover made by Akervick Brothers in Seattle. The color is has an orangeish tint, makes me lean towards bronze, but composition/application unknown. 6" diameter, unthreaded hole in center is aobut 1/8". They were listed as a supplier to the fishing industry, based on Lake Union in Seattle. Has some patina and a little bit of corrosion/greening. Does not look like it was used.
