Estate find. Unknown country of origin and age. Please look at the construction details and assess for yourself. Drum top, 6" in diameter, appears to be animal skin. It has remnants of golden brown fur visible around the periphery where it is fastened with the caning. Drum top with no holes. Missing two of the wooden shims/wedges. 23" tall. Rawhide strap is a modern addition.
