Vintage 7-Up Pencil Clip with 8 Bubbles in 4-2-2 Configuration Instead of 3-2-3 Design. This is even more of a rare find than the 3-2-3 order of bubbles. 8 bubble advertising only existed for a couple years in the late 1930’s. Then their advertising department asked…….”why do we have 8 bubbles when we are 7 Up?” That was the transition to the still used 3-2-2 bubble design. Excellent condition and a great collectible!!!
