Vintage 1982 Signed Valerie Skidmore Modernist Risen Christ Pendant Necklace Up for auction is a beautiful piece of vintage spiritual art wear from 1982, designed and signed by American artisan Valerie Skidmore. This iconic modernist pendant features a beautifully sculpted silhouette of the Risen Christ with extended arms, beautifully contrasting a smooth satin gold-tone body against a detailed, radiating sunburst crown/halo. This piece is a wonderful collector's item, uniquely signed twice on the reverse side. It features the cast script signature "Valerie Skidmore" across the lower section and is crisp stamped "V. SKIDMORE © 82" on the upper right wing.
