Released in 1974 by Rapco, Inc., the Famous Monsters Plaster Casting Kit capitalized on the massive pop-culture resurgence of the classic Universal Monsters during the 1970s. This specific kit allowed "monster kids" to mix casting plaster, pour it into a reusable two-piece plastic mold, and create a 5½" tall bust of Frankenstein's monster that they could paint and display without the need for ceramic kiln firing.
