Beautiful vintage 1970s/1980s hand-carved organic wood sculpture by listed Hawaiian artisan Don Paik. This stunning piece is carved from native Hawaiian Milo wood, featuring a gorgeous two-tone grain with deep reddish heartwood and lighter sapwood. The artist masterfully carved a serene woman’s face (representing the volcano goddess Pele) emerging directly out of a natural tree branch section (12in by 9in) - $175 OBO
