Founded in Chicago in 1930 by Luther Replogle, Replogle Globes, Inc. is the world's largest manufacturer of geographical globes. … The side of this Globe is marked “Replogle Stereo Relief Globe. Patent Pending. Copyright by Replogle Globes Inc. Made in U.S.A.” Overall, this Globe measures 14 ½” tall, including the original wood and steel base. This Globe shows “Former French Indo-China” labeled as Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, and “Malaysia” as Malay which dates it to between 1954 and 1957 … There are some very small areas of paper loss to the surface plus some light wear to the wood and steel base, but there are no other problems or any restorations.
