Vintage 1930’s Appliqué Autumn Leaves Quilt 57 x 84 Pink Ground

Beautiful handmade quilt features a cream-colored top with pink bordered sections and detailed appliqués. It includes a central medallion with multicolored leaves and vines. The quilting is very fine with decorative swirls across the pink borders. Autumn leaves is an iconic 1930’s pattern that gained massive popularity during the depression after variations of the design won top awards at national competitions, such as the 1933 Sears Century of Progress Quilt Contest. This is a beautifully made quilt. There is some minimal fading of the pink border from exposure to light (see pics) but it is truly in otherwise perfect condition with no rips, stains or tears. Fresh and clean with no odors.
