From the sellerThisis a photo of the Viking Ship "Leif Erikson" that was built in Korgen, Northern Norway according to drawing from the 12th century and is a true type of vessel tha Leif Erikson used for the discovery of America in the year 997. The vessel was finished at the shipyard April 19th, 1926 and sailed from Hemnesberget, Nordland April 20th, 1926. After many difficulties, it reached Boston, Mass on August 12th, 1926. Today it is on view in Duluth, Minnesota. This is a photo with the original people on board. Very good condition.
