Measures 7 1/2 x 5 appox. Viking Glass Company was established in 1944 after New Martinsville Glass went broke in the late 30's and was sold to people associated with Silver City Glass Company of Meriden, Connecticut. New Martinsville Glass Manufacturing Company was established in 1901 in New Martinsville, West Virginia, and was bought and renamed the Viking Glass Company in 1944. The factory was purchased by Kenneth Dalzell, former president of Fostoria Glass Company, in 1987 and renamed Dalzell-Viking. Production ceased in 1998.
