This is a very rare pair of Victorian Bohemian Garnet Cabochon Dangle Drop Earrings in Gold. The exquisite earrings have large 19mm by 11mm by 5mm deep gorgeous blood red Bohemian Garnet pear shape cabochons. The cabochons are surrounded by a halo of round rose cut garnets. The pear shape drops hang from a top set with a 10mm round Garnet cabochon. The extraordinary garnet jewels are set in 9 Karat Gold. The earrings have 14 Karat Gold leverback earwires. The color of the Bohemian Garnets is absolutely wonderful. The earrings are the perfect size and an absolute delight. With elegant romantic design and the use of the fabulous Garnets, the earrings are exquisite examples of Victorian jewelry making. The earrings date to circa 1850-1900.
