Century Fire Screen w/ Reading Table. Quite a nice piece, a Victorian Fire Screen w/ Reading Table. This type of screen was used to set closer to the open hearth for warmth. this particular screen not only kept the heat off the individual, it also provided a little table for reading or light sewing.
