From the seller
The antiquities dealer I bought this lovely intact medieval lead seal from thought that the crests on either side indicated it was papal. After a little bit of research, it think it is much more likely to be from medieval England or Scotland, and likely dates to c. 1500. The seal measures 32mm in length and weighs 9.2g. It features a crest with a chevron on one side and a crest with four quadrants on the other.
