VERY FINE PAIR ANTIQUE PIETRA DURA PLAQUE LADY GENTLEMAN ITALIAN MOSAIC NR

One depicts a lady in 18th Century attire, with a lorgnette and mirror, and the other depicts a man in 18th Century attire, bowing with a flower. Both show use of fine inlay of gems such as lapis and malachite. They are mounted in period (original) frames, with a Chicago gallery label. Each of the plaques is in excellent condition. The frames are in great antique condition with some corner wear. The plaques each measure approximately 6 1/4” X 10 7/8”. Frames each measure approximately 10 3/4” X 15 1/2”.
