First Stamp of the United States, Scott #1, Used with Red Grid Fancy Cancels & a Blue Circular Date Cancel (CDS). There is a small repair at the top margin above the “S.” It doesn’t take away from the appearance much at all, yet without it you’d only see the very tiny square piece missing from top margin.
