This item is a Japanese carved wooden mask of Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Represents commerce, perseverance, and good fortune. It’s in excellent condition. This information is accurate to the best of my knowledge. The mask originally belonged to a woman who served as a U.S. ambassador and collected pieces from her travels around the world.
