ORIGINAL 1899 BAYONET KRAG JORGENSEN US MODEL 1892 w/METAL SCABBARD Very Good Bayonet- 16 1/4 inches Blade- 11 5/8 inches Marked with US on one side 1899 on other side of blade The wood handle has a soldiers name carved into it (lole) No breaks or cracks in wood at all. Bayonet fits very firmly into the scabbord, with no wiggle. Scabbard also has patina and light rust but no damage besides normal wear and tear. The belt attachment is like new, pivots the way it was meant to originally. Blade has some sharpening markings on it and some beautiful patina. But still shines The clip for attaching to rifle works as brand new. Tight and fully functional. Feel free to reach out and ask questions. I will ship the same day it sells.
