Trunk one of a kind Saintenac Trunk

This piece was manufactured late 20s in alger under french rule. There is truly nothing like it in the world that I have been able to find. It has remnants of possible Arabic writing, English and evidence of transatlantic steamer travel, that i find very interesting. Likely part of an extensive set owned by an extremely wealthy person of the Arab Imerates , Egypt or something of the like in which few of these special order if any may have survived but I have never seen anything like it. And she is absolutely stunning. Has been well traveled and far from perfect but this one just tells a story, a story of a man traveling trans Atlantic, originating in the middle east with luggage that was not designed for ocean travel.
