Description
From the sellerWhen the Round Oak Stove and Range company opened its doors in Dowagaic, Michigan in 1871 it really revolutionized home heating. Salesmen in the mid west often left the sad iron as a gift to stores. It was so popular that these stores upon making a sale of a stove or range often gifted the buyer with the little iron. Some stores gave them as Christmas presents to customers to use as paperweights. This one is dated between 1900 and 1930. It is 3 3/4 inches long and 2 inches tall and weighs 1 pound. Please look at the photos and ask questions before bidding as there is no return on it. Payment is due four days after the end of the auction. Upon receipt, I try to ship within two days.
