From the sellerThe Theron 52 -Vintage Lip Stick Holder-A collectible item made of mother of pearl with a mirror. I was thinking it was a Mardi Gras Ball favor because it was my mother’s and she was invited to many of them. However, I can’t find any reference to a Theron krewe. The root of the word comes from Greek and means “hunter” or “wild”. I goggled “ Theron “ and is, or was, a school with that name. Maybe it was from there?
