This 4-book collection of The Synthesizer by Roland is the definitive work on subtractive synthesis. It is invaluable for learning analog synthesis - using simple diagrams based on the Roland System 100 Series Modular System. This set was printed in 1983 and shows normal age-related discoloration on the box. There is also a small fracture along one of the seams, as pictured. The books themselves have not been used and are in like new condition, which the exception of age coloration.
