The National Geographic Magazine, Volume XCV, Number Six, June 1949, as seen from the cover index this magazine covers: Italy’s post war recovery, a wonderful tour of the western United States and Canada, Newfoundland, Commercial Fishing and concludes with the Society’s New Map of Europe and the Near East with detailed descriptions of land areas gained and lost following the end of the war. Wonderful advertising includes a full color back cover Coca-Cola ad; as well as ads inside the magazine for railroad lines, airlines; Zenith and Admiral televisions, an RCA Atomic Clock and much more. The magazine itself is in like new condition with the exception of a few flyspecks on the cover and two binding wrap pulls at the top and bottom of the volume.
