From the seller"The Fireman" Royal Doulton D6839 is a small character jug (4 1/4”) made in a Limited Edition of 5,000 pieces, this is No. 3960 in the series. Commissioned by Lawleys By Post and issued in 1989 and made of ceramic with a glossy finish. The HANDLE is an Axe and a Fire Hose. The backstamp is a rolled up Fire Hose with all the info written on it The FIREMAN is a member of the series “ JOURNEY THROUGH BRITAIN “. He is looking for a new house to live in. Make sure it YOURS!
