Taxco Mexico vintage silver malachite turtle talisman necklace and bracelet set. Bought in Taxco by my sister when living there about 35 years ago. Well over 1 ounce of silver! Both pieces are stamped .925 with a Taxco hallmark on the bracelet. Bezel-set natural banded malachite with an 18 inch omega cord style chain with lobster clasp. The turtle talisman is a symbol of longevity, protection, and endurance. Original patina, I have not cleaned this jewelry. A beautiful example of the Taxco silversmith's art. Non smoking home.
