These were my aunt's and given the style, I am guessing they are from the 1940s. I cannot identify the shell used but the shells are set in sterling. A savvy viewer informedme they were blister pearls, found in abalone shells. The earrings are screw backs. The sterling could use a bit of polish. The settings have a lovely design and the shells change colors in the light. Unique and lovely vintage pieces. I am wondering if they are Native American work since my aunt worked in the Southwest.
