Southern Rhodesia Stamp Lot: 1946 Victory Set (4) & 1953 Rhodes Centenary (2)

Up for auction is a clean 6-stamp commemorative lot from Southern Rhodesia, featuring two significant historical issues. 1. 1946 Victory Issue (Complete Set of 4) Commemorating the Allied Victory in WWII. Includes: 1d (Carmine), 2d (Slate), 3d (Blue), 6d (Orange). Featuring portraits of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. 2. 1953 Cecil Rhodes Centenary (2 Stamps) Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Cecil Rhodes. Includes: 1/2d (Brown/Blue - Native Village) and 2d (Purple/Green - Victoria Falls Bridge). Condition: All stamps are unused with original gum. The 1946 set appears very fresh. Note a small hinge remnant/mark on the 3d blue and 2d purple stamps (see photos for details). Perforations are intact and colors are vibrant.
