Slovakian Handpainted and Sculpted Ceramic Folk Art Village Bell

This is a Slovakian handpainted and sculpted ceramic folk art village bell, featuring a cone-shaped base adorned with a relief scene of European-style village cottages, a red-roofed tower, and a streetlamp. The unique handle on top is sculpted out of glazed, dark brown clay into two interconnected spirals or curls, a classic signature technique used by Slovak potters. It has cut-out windows around the relief village to allow sound resonance from the interior ceramic clapper. The bell measures 3-inches tall and the base is 1-1/2 inches. Perfect condition.
