It is made from plastic and it will walk down stairs when you place it on the top step and pull the top end over the stair and let go , as long as the stairs are not too wide the slinky will "walk" down them. It measures 5 inch diameter by 4.5 inch tall unstretched, stretched out it will extend to many feet long. It weighs 11.1 oz A great slinky that will provide huge fun and a beauty for anyones collection.
