Sir Alfred Scott-Gatty (26 April 1847 – 18 December 1918), a prominent British officer of arms and composer. He entered the College of Arms in London in 1880. He served as Rouge Dragon Pursuivant, York Herald, and eventually rose to the peak position of Garter Principal King of Arms in 1904.
