To commemorate the Trans-Canada Railway Construction Act a special SILVER DOLLAR was minted and included in the annual Proof Set in 1981. Sealed in OGP holder are all seven coins, also the RCM specifications and description chart is included. This set is in a deluxe black leather case with a snap clasp. The cardboard case sleeve has some wear and has some writing on it, no problems with the leather case or coin holder. The product is a 1981 Canada Proof Railroad Dollar in the Double Dollar Deluxe Year Set. The silver coin has a fineness of 0.5 and features a steam locomotive design related to railroads. Only the Railroad Dollar is minted in silver. It is uncertified and has a denomination of $1, making it a valuable addition to any collector's set of Canadian coins.
