Oh I just love this ring! The ring features the most beautifully carved cameo of Shakespeare. And how rare and desirable to find the cameo done in a hardstone! The face is exquisite, the hair absolutely incredible! The ring dates to the Belle Epoque period c1860-1910, and hand carved cameo rings are all the rage today. A rare find!!! The ring comes from a prominent New York City estate. The condition of the ring is excellent. The top of the ring is 14mm, the cameo is 11mm across. The ring is currently a size 6 US (L 1/2 UK) and can be easily resized if desired. It weighs 2.2 grams.
