From the seller“Set of Five Chinese Export Brass Bat-Form Tea Cup Stands, Hand-Engraved, Marked Made in China, Circa 1940–1960.” Purchased in Cottonwood, Arizona in the early 1940s. The fact that there are five is interesting in Chinese symbolism. Five bats often represent the “Five Blessings”: 1. Longevity 2. Wealth 3. Health 4. Virtue 5. Peaceful old age Saucers only cups are either damaged or missing
