From the sellerThis is a set of two JEANETTE GLASS Powder / Trinket Jars featuring donkey and elephant figural lid designs. Made of glass in the United States during the 1950s-1960s, the jars have a height of 5 inches and a diameter of 4 inches. Jeanette Glass Company produced several different versions of these jars with various figural lids including the subject elephant and donkey along with a fawn, a poodle, a Scottie dog, etc. The subject jars are representative of the political symbols for the Republican and Democrat parties in the United States and are frequently sold and used as commemorative "voting" decor.
