Sculpture Tribal ART *: Carved Wood from Islands Maori. Rare Ethnographic

Beautiful carved standing figure, stands on its own, but would benefit from a stand. Over 11 -12 inches tall, we understand it to come from an Island culture, like the Easter Islands. But cannot verify. A museum expert, would be able to identify, more accurately. Wearing a headless, the hands are resting on its stomach, and there are lovely details at the front and back.
