Schreiber Wood Bassoon (serial#: 18339)

It’s been a while since I played bassoon, but I eventually dredged up my memory of fingerings, etc. this has a dark symphonic sound that is far better than I deserve. I’m pretty sure most of this bassoon if not all is operating properly. ….(caveat, I’m a saxophonist). Many of the pads look great, and some while less so, have plenty of life left in them. The pictures portray the overall condition accurately. The Bocal, which I believe original to the instrument, has “FE. 3 on it. The corks appeared to have plenty of life in them also. The case functions and latches properly. Note the peeling away of the leather. Seems like a little glue would fix that. We will ship this extra safely and securely.
