From the sellerThe Sangean ATS-803A PLL World Band Receiver is a vintage desktop radio made in the United States between 1988-1992. This radio features a range of bands including AM, FM, SW, and LW With the ability to run on both battery and AC power, this receiver offers versatility in how it can be used. This radio was tested and works with batteries, it powers on and tunes fine. The battery contacts are clean. NOTE -when the AA batteries were also installed, I did not get the unit to power on, I’m not sure why - maybe user error. Removed the AA batteries, and it worked fine with the “D” batteries. The AC adapter port was not tested. Included is the radio and the carry strap.
