Russian Orthodox Hand Painted Egg - Guardian Angel- Cross- Cyrillic Lacquer

This Russian Orthodox egg with hand-painted accents features a beautiful design of a Guardian Angel and cross, adorned with traditional Cyrillic letters and colors including gold, green, black, and red. Handmade in a Catholic Orthodox style, the egg stands at a medium height of 6 1/4" and is made of wood. The image of the guardian angel stands on the 4 1/2" high by 3" wide egg, making it a unique and meaningful collectible for Orthodox Christians. Note: The egg is attached to the stand with museum type putty but this could be removed if not desired. Due to the age of the piece the original lacquer shows crazing but is intact.
