The marks indicate genuine English bone china, made in England. The Roman numerals (XLVIII, LII, MMVIII, etc.) are Royal Crown Derby date codes showing pieces were produced in different years. Old Imari 1128 has been in production since the 1960s and remains one of Royal Crown Derby’s flagship patterns.
