Going back in history on this exceptionally clean collectible from 1948. Featured here is Montreal Royals sensational catcher Roy Campanella months prior to Roy making the Brooklyn Dodgers team in 1948. Considered the best catcher in baseball by some at the time. Tragedy struck Campy early in his sensational career when he was paralyzed from a automobile accident. . Nice clean 78 year old, rare Campanella original to frame and display, approximately 12x16, has been stored flat and will be shipped flat between sturdy cardboard.
