Rev War 18th Century Wood British Oak Field Small Canteen 7 1/2 Inch Marked

Super example small size measuring 7 1/2 by 5 on ends . Forged iron bands with original iron handle . I love the size and remains of original blacken color on forged iron bands. Note this canteen has branded initials in side . Good H . S. Makers marking . This example is really nice with hand forged iron bail . British military service canteen from the Rev war with raised spout and stopper. Wonderful 18th century patina and something you just don’t see this nice. This is similar examples seen in the collectors encyclopedia of the Rev war . Good small Rev war size . Bid early as this will not be relisted .
