Regal Rotary Vintage Fly Tying Vise

This is another early Regal rotary vise I bought many many years ago. The style is clearly one of if not the oldest version of a rotary vise made by Regal. The aluminum ring on the back is used to tighten or loosen the rotational action. It works perfectly. The finish on the gold body is beautiful. No wear on any of it. It has the longer stem for edge of table use. It doesn’t have a C clamp. Although the brand label has a bit of fading I attribute that to age and not wear. The darker area on the aluminum ring is from the factory grease. But it isnt greasy on my fingers. I’ll leave it to the next collector to decide on cleaning it or not. This vise too sat on my shelf for many many years. It’ s collector grade or ready for use.
