This is a reclaimed vintage brick from the Sayre & Fisher Company. The company was established in 1850 by James R. Sayre, Jr. and Peter Fisher in New Jersey. It became one of the USA's leading manufacturers of various types of bricks. Bricks from this company were used in the construction of iconic structures such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and the base of the Statue of Liberty. The Sayreville plant closed in 1970.
