A small cover, less than the size of an index card, to Mrs Mary Reid at Crawfordville. She was a niece of Confederate Vice President Alexander H Stephens. The date is Feb 24, 1864. Large CDS from Barnesville Georgia. The stamp has a strong blue color and four margins. Likely a top margin stamp. A very pleasant shade of medium blue. Back flap had been removed.
