Produced around 1882, this distinctive piece belongs to their highly collectible "Dolphin Series". It features a detailed stem formed by stylized dolphins resting on a geometric base, supporting a wave-like ribbed bowl. Slag glass (also called malachite glass) was made by mixing different colored molten glass batches. Thorough examination reveals no fleabites, chips, cracks, other damage or repairs. Common occurrences with early glass would include unfilled bubbles, rough seams, anneal lines, etc.
