From the sellerThis is a very rare thacher’s needle. Thatched roofs were not that common in North America. This tool is in great condition. The thatcher would use cord or gut string to sew straw into bundles and nicely place the bundles onto the roof. It has the patent # 461673 issued to the Darby Co.
