Rare Primitive Rustic Shop-made Hand-cranked Wooden Dynamite Blasting Wire Reel

The dowels are affixed by a single nail on the outside and the axle has a slotted screw on the outside affixing it. On the inside, wrapped around the dowels, is a bare copper wire. The wire would be attached to the blasting cap by the "blaster" who would then walk slowly backwards to a safe location and connect the other end of the wire to the ignition source.
